Tents

Must be aired and dried as soon as possible.

Inside to be empty of all contents.

Mud must be cleaned off with warm water – Please do not use soap or any cleaner as it ruins the waterproofing. – They are not washing machine suitable.

 Pegs to be cleaned and dried using warm soapy water and correct number returned.

 

Trangias

All parts to be washed and cleaned, except the burner – They are not dishwasher suitable.

All parts are numbered with the same number; please don’t mix up numbers with different Trangia sets

 

Maps

To be aired and dried, cleaned of any mud or dirt and routes to be removed with nail varnish remover (must be used in a well vented area).

 

Map Cases

To be aired and dried, cleaned of any mud or dirt.

 

Waterproof Jackets

Need to be aired and dried, with pockets all emptied.

Mud and dirt must be cleaned off with warm water – no detergent to be used at all, as this will ruin the waterproofing

Rain covers to be aired, dried and cleaned of any mud or dirt using warm soapy water.

 

Hi Vis Jackets

To be cleaned / washed depending on the level of dirtiness (can be put into a washing machine) returned clean and dry.

 

Sleeping bag

Needs to be aired and made sure it is dried. The separate sleeping bag liner to be washed so the next person can use it.

 

Sleeping mat / Roll mat

To be opened for airing and any dirt or mud to be cleaned off. Please return dried
